COOKIE POLICY

The Patient Champion website uses cookies. For more information on which cookies we use, how we use them and how to manage yours, please read on.

1. WHAT COOKIES ARE

Cookies are files saved on your phone, tablet or computer when you visit a website. They store information about how you use the website, such as the pages you visit. Cookies are not viruses or computer programs; they are very small pieces of code and do not take up much space on your device.

2. HOW WE USE COOKIES

We use two types of cookies to make your experience of using our website better.

Cookies that measure website use.

We use Google Analytics to measure how you use the website so we can improve it based on user needs. Google Analytics sets cookies that store anonymised information about how you got to the site, the pages you visit, how long you spend on each page and what you click on while you’re visiting the site for example. We do not allow Google to use or share the data about how you use this site.

Cookies that remember your settings

These cookies do things like remember your preferences and the choices you make, to personalise your experience of using the site. If you decline to accept cookies when using our website (when you see the cookies pop-up message), we won’t track your information when you visit our site. But in order to comply with your preferences, we’ll have to use just one tiny cookie to remember this, so that you’re not asked to make this choice again.

3. HOW TO DISABLE COOKIES

If you want to disable cookies you need to change your website browser settings to reject cookies. How you can do this will depend on the browser you use. Further details on how to disable cookies for the most popular browsers are set out below:
